Souvenirs de vacances

And the city's huge kiln, four des Casseaux (about the size of a two storey house ) that required 76 employees, of whom 16 men just to fuel the fire with wood. Of course it is not used anymore.

We visited another place famous for its ceramic arts, the very pittoresque Saint Jean de Fos, in the south of France. It's a medieval circulade, meaning the streets were built in circles around the center of the village.
